18th India International Silk Fair (IISF) from 7 to 9 November 2024

The Indian Silk Export Promotion Council (ISEPC) is organising the 18th India International Silk Fair (IISF) from 7 to 9 November 2024, at Yashobhoomi, IICC - India International Convention & Expo Centre, Dwarka, New Delhi, India.

2. The 18th IISF is to provide an exposure of products of around 100 exhibitors from India who will be displaying varieties of fabrics & garments both in silk & silk blended, scarves, saree, made-ups, silk carpets & home furnishing and it is expecting to be visited by more than 150 foreign buyers. The Indian silk industry is very dynamic as it is the only country which produces all commercial varieties of silk namely Tassar, Muga, Eri and Mulberry. Silk produced in India has its own uniqueness in terms of better strength, ability to absorb dyes, ruggedness, brightness and lustre, fall, feel, drape etc.

3. In order to provide an exposure to foreign buyers, ISEPC is proposing to sponsor the visit of 110 foreign buyers to the fair. Under the scheme, the foreign buyers will be offered with airfare subsidy of Rs. 40,000/- (approx. Euro 450/-), two days complimentary stay in 4/5 star hotel with breakfast and working lunch and airport pick up & drop facility. The visiting foreign buyers will be availing benefits of unparalleled interaction with suppliers from remote corners of India.
