We are pleased to inform you that the FICCI Higher Education Summit 2022 (FHES 2022), the upcoming 17th Edition of the International Summit on Higher Education will be held from 17th – 19th November 2022 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, INDIA. The event is being jointly organized by the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, Ministry of Education, Government of India, Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC) & Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).

The 15th Edition of the FICCI Higher Education Summit 2019 (FHES 2019) was very successful and witnessed the participation of over 140 Higher Education Sector exhibitors350 Foreign Delegates from 76 countries had over 8300 structured B2B meetings with these Exhibitors during the summit. Over 1500 delegates and visitors attended the show. The post-Show Report is enclosed for your ready reference. Due to the pandemic, the 16th Edition of the FICCI Higher Education Summit conference was held virtually.  

FICCI Higher Education Summit 2022 will have participation from all major Indian Educational Institutions from all streams, Universities, NGOs & renowned Educationalists. The event will also witness the participation of International and National Conference Delegates, Business Visitors, Students from all streams, Government Officials, and Diplomats from Foreign Missions. Over 10,000 structured B2B and B2G meetings are expected to take place between Exhibitors and Foreign Delegates during the summit. 

FICCI Higher Education Summit 2022, in addition to policy deliberations, shall focus on developing an ecosystem for strategic partnerships in the Education Sector between India and other countries. FHES 2022 will provide a forum for international education providers interested to partner and engaging with Indian higher educational institutions and will encourage them to collaborate and partner. 

Reverse Buyer Seller Meet (RBSM) with delegations of higher education decision-makers will be organized during FHES 2022 and meetings between the exhibitors and delegates will be organized with the objective of developing strategic partnerships in the higher education sector between India and focus developing countries and to promote quality higher education services from India. FHES 2022 will help to bring together Indian Educational Institutions from all streams and the international audience to enable interactions and discussions to enhance existing synergies in the higher education sector. We are inviting and hosting over 350 delegates from more than 80 countries of Africa, Middle East, CIS, developing Asia including SAARC, Latin America, and other developing regions during the event. 

As a part of hospitality, we shall be pleased to provide both sides economy class air tickets from the shortest route, 5-star hotel accommodation for 3 nights in India (near to the event venue) and other suitable arrangements for the Hosted Foreign Delegates for their visit to FICCI Higher Education Summit 2022. 

In this reference, please note that the organizers will provide accommodation and economy class air tickets (with airfare up to USD 700) to approved hosted delegates. Tickets with fares exceeding USD 700 shall be purchased by the delegate upon prior confirmation of the travel itinerary (reaching New Delhi on 16th November 2022 and departing New Delhi on 19th November 2022 late evening). After a successful visit by the delegate, organizers will reimburse USD 700 directly to their bank account through electronic transfer. Organizers will host only one person from an organization. Additional delegates from the same organization interested to participate are welcome however they will bear the cost of air-ticket and accommodation.

After both ‘Registration Received Successfully’ and ‘Registration as Hosted Delegate is Approved’ emails are sent to selected delegates on registered email, Selected Delegates to immediately send confirmation of their participationtentative air-travel details and Performa Invoice/ Quotation/Price of the recommended flight itinerary for approval. Visa Invitation Letter will be sent by FICCI and delegate to apply for VISA at Indian Embassy/ High Commission. VISA fee to be borne by the delegates.

We wish to inform you that we will host about 10 delegates per country on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS. The final selection/ approvalshortlisting will be done by the Screening Committee which will decide on complementary hospitalities to be granted subject to the appropriateness of the profile. A token cash amount of USD 100/- against a refundable registration fee shall be deposited by all the invited delegates upon arrival to India.

We shall be grateful to interested business parties and delegates from Ireland to expedite and provide the desired complete details of delegates in the required format to Mr. Sudhanshu Gupta, Deputy Director FICCI (Mobile No: +919873311557) on E-mail: ‎ sudhanshu.gupta@ficci.comfhes@ficci.com  / com.dublin@mea.gov.in within the stipulated date of 21st July 2022. Please also note that all the recommended delegates are required to register online on the event website link: http://www.ficci-hes.com/Hosted-Delegate-Registration.php OR send us the duly filled FHES 2022 Registration Form (MS Word file) along with a photo, passport, and employee photo ID and Visiting/Business/Name Card LATEST BY 31st AUGUST 2022.
