Celebration of International Year of Millets 2023 at the Embassy of India, Dublin

Embassy of India, Dublin celebrated the International Year of Millets 2023 (designated by United nation General Assembly) with a curtain raiser event at the Embassy (31st Jan 2023) attended by a cross- section of Irish society and prominent community members to promote the consumption of millets. Also, some local Ayurvedic practitioners and yoga teachers participated.The event included a talk on the health and environmental benefits of millets highlighting India's leadership role as the global hub for millets. Samples of raw millets were provided to the guests; some samples of dishes, prepared with millets were also provided
